At first glance you think he looks like a nice guy. Also, you would think the 13 years of experience that he boast about on his LinkedIn would have taught him a thing or two about treating women with the same respect he treats men. Let me sum up the scenario for you as I'm sure you are dying to know why I am so offended by this person. P*si comes into my place of business with his colleagues in Dallas. Proceeds to buy a bottle of wine and take everyone back to the red room. I am not sitting with him but he is covering the tab for all his work friends. They stay in the vip for over 2 hours getting dances non stop, typical strip club customer, trying to touch the girls where it's not allowed, etc etc. We have to always fight these type of guys off. They want more always and sometimes become quite aggressive. They solicit you for prostitution and inform you they are at the Sheraton and ask you to meet them. This is America, you are not in Finland anymore. Quite frankly I will never visit the country if this is any representation of the type of men that are there.
Waitress comes to close the tab and he decides he does not want to pay now. He refuses to pay the girls and says he wasn't informed blah blah blah. Suddenly amnesia sets in. Common sense would have told him that vip is not free. Everyone would go back if the dances were free there!!! He says he thought the the bottle of wine he bought covered the girls. So a $350 bottle of wine includes 2 hours of dancing for 3 girls? 3 minutes a song at $20 would be $400 an hour per girl. Simple math would let you know that we are not dancing for free. The manager was standing next to this jerk when the girl told him that the girls charge upwards of $500 an hour each for vip before we even went back there. We get into a pretty heated argument and this jerk proceeds to tell me not to speak while "men are speaking" then as he walks out of the club he takes a $20 out and throws it in the waitress face and I say "you can't treat the girls that way, we don't deserve this." He grabs a dollar out of his jacket pocket and proceeds to throw it in my face while saying, "I have something for you too." He is very lucky that he hurried out of the club before the police got there to arrest him. One of his friends, pays the one girl and tells P*si to cover his tab. He still refuses. Says to call the cops but he left really quick when we threatened that they were on his way and I even asked him how was his wife going to react to him being in a Texas jail for refusing to pay for the dances that he received. Why even come into a strip club if you have a wife at home that you are so terrified of? I'm pretty sure if Accenture decided to not pay him his salary one month that he would be quite offended. He would call an attorney and seek legal advice and justice. He would be furious that he couldn't feed his family. Why am I to be expected to work for free!!! I have a child to feed also. I do not get paid to be in the club, I actually have to pay to be there to use the building. I wanted to pay my electric bill today and now I will have to go an extra day to work because this asshole thought he was so awesome that the girls in Dallas owe him free dances.
What can the girls at the club do though? There's no protection for us. We just hope to work another day, take care of our children, and try to finish college or whatever it is that we are trying to achieve with the money we make at work. We are human beings also. We have kids who depend on us. We have families. We have chosen to work in a profession where we have to deal with things of this nature but why set out to treat us bad. The customer is not forced to go to vip. Don't parade around like a vip customer and pop bottles but then run out on your tab and expect the girls to work for free. We don't owe you anything, Jaakkola. Stay in Finland with your family and don't come looking for sexual favors in the USA.
